[面部]顔面、ヒタイの処 。
[天門]眼上下、鼻。
[Menbu] Ganmen, hitai no sho. [Tenmon] me jōge hana.
Menbu: Face, “hitai” , i.e. forehead gap.
Tenmon: area up and down the eyes, nose.
Thus Menbu is slightly higher than Tenmon, and Tenmon is the entry via eyes and nose, a larger area.
Tips from the Masters
Kühn: Kühn: Menbu, also [gan]men. Frontal bone, bridge of the nose. Tenmon - Also miken, bridge of the nose, frontal bone between the eyebrows.
Momot: Darkness in the eyes, broken nose, heavy bleeding, short loss of consciousness, complicated nose breaking and the change of position of the bones. Temporary blindness, tears because of the damage of ethmoid nerve, which is a branch of the trigeminal nerve. The blow is generally not lethal, but the complications can be lethal.
